The big red blob.
This big house sits on a double lot and needed a lot of work. There was a great space in the back that was just waiting to be turned into a master suite, so we did just that! With over 2,000 square feet of living space, this property boasts 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a carport.
Exterior renovations included: New roof, fresh brick paint and added on carport, small workshop and convereted an outside space to a master suite. We also added new concrete under the carport.
The exterior brick was painted “Orion Gray.” We had to close up a few windows so we used cedar to accent in areas. We also replaced the back door from a broken sliding door to beautiful french doors.
The interior received all new drywall, fresh paint, trim and brand new carpet in the bedrooms.
This was that weird space I was talking about. It looked like it may have been used as a work shop at some point, but we were able use the exisitng walls to frame up a new master bedroom. We built a pier and beam foundation over the existing concrete and framed in a bathroom and master closet.
After demoing the old carport, we started fresh with new concrete, cedar beams, and added a small workshop / storage space at the back.
What a difference betwene paneling and drywall, am I right?
Woah, check out this kitchen makeover! All new custom cabinets, back splash, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. We also brought the plank flooring throughout the kitchen for a seamless look.
After the walls were demo’d in the bathroom, we added in all new plumbing, custom vanity with granite counter top, new toilet and bathtub with subway tile surround.
We converted this water heater closet into a water heater + stackable washer and dryer space. If you love the color of the walls, it’s Fossil Gray. 🙂
