How It Works

Get Pre-Approved for a Home Loan

Our agents will recommend an excellent source for your pre-approval. 
Before we can begin the home search, we must know what type of financing you qualify for, and your budget. Your financial information and pre-approval letter from an experienced lender will help determine our best strategy for finding the perfect home! If you don’t know where to begin, contact one of our awesome agents today! We will help walk you through the entire process!

Home Search

This is the most fun part of the entire process: searching for the perfect home! During this process, we will custom tailor your home search to meet all of your criteria. Keep in mind, we can adjust this at any time! Your agent will set up property alerts directly from the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) to ensure you receive accurate information as soon as it’s listed. During this process, please stay loyal to your agent! They work hard for you. You will work exclusivelywith your agent to preview homes and find the best fit for you!

Negotiate Offer(s)

Once you have found the home, it’s time to put an offer in! Your agent will make sure to present the best offer for your situation. It’s important to let them know how much money you have saved for down payment + closing costs, in case they need to negotiate these items. There are many other terms inside the offer contract that your agent will walk you through. They will handle any counter offers and negotiations on your behalf until you have made a deal with the seller!

Escrow

“Escrow” means that you have a contract with the seller to purchase their home, and all parties are now working towards closing your home! This process will take an average of 30 days. Here’s what to expect: Option Period, Inspections, Repair Negotiation, Title Commitment Review, Survey, Appraisal, Final Approval, Closing.

 Closing

The sweetest words to hear when buying a home are “Clear to Close!” Once we get the final approval from the lender, we will work on setting up a closing date with the title company. Be prepared to sign numerous documents, ensuring that you are the proud owner of your new home!

After closing

We will check back with you after the closing, and help answer any questions you might have. We are also here to give any recommendations for moving companies, contractors, home warranty experts, etc. We have a vast network of partners that we’d love to share with you!

Commissions are typically negotiated and paid for by the seller, which means, you get an exclusive agent working on your behalf for no charge to you!
